PRIME SCHOOL is a network of schools of foreign languages that was founded in 2006. Initially it was part of the BKC-International House group of schools but later became independent and is now rapidly growing and gaining its popularity in Moscow and the Moscow region.

There are five schools in our network today with the central office at 3, Slesarny Pereulok, which is located in the very centre of Moscow.

We teach English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian as a foreign language to adults and young learners.

There is a large variety of programmes we offer: from general courses to specific ones, from Business to conversational and different tailor-made courses.

Our methodology is based on the communicative approach to teaching as we believe that instruction through communication is the most effective way of improving students’ speaking ability. We develop all aspects of students’ knowledge in a very balanced way giving attention to grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation as well as practicing all skills such as writing, reading, listening and speaking, the latter being prioritized as one of the most valued and demanded by our students.

PRIME SCHOOL students have got a lot of opportunities to learn more about cultures of different countries and nationalities as our teachers come from the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Brazil, Poland and many other countries. We employ both native and non-native teachers of English and modern languages. The main criteria for employment are: EFL/ESL qualifications and some experience in teaching languages.

Most of our teachers are CELTA and DELTA qualified.

We do our best to meet the students’ needs and to respond effectively to their requests and demands in the rapidly changing world. Our students take preparatory courses for international exams such as Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE as well as in IELTS, GMAT and many other types of exams. Teachers are trained to run all types of exam courses, both regular and intensive.

We teach Business English to our corporate clients as well as English for academic purposes for college and universitiy students. 

We are using up-to-date resources and materials, original British course books, authentic videos, DVDs, and many recent reference books and electronic resources.

Throughout the year our teachers attend training sessions and workshops which are run every week. The quality of teaching is regularly checked by the Director of Studies through observations and feedback. Teachers who need more support get it when necessary and can develop professionally by doing various on-line courses for teachers. We encourage peer observations, mutual support and team teaching.

The teachers ‘team is very professional and reliable!  The atmosphere in our Teachers’ Rooms is very friendly and welcoming, so many teachers stay with the school for more than one year.
